Netflix have announced that their South Korean Zombie drama, Kingdom will be adding a special one off episode, the episode will be available to stream next year.
The “Sidequel” as Netflix has called it will focus on the mysterious character Ashin (played by Jun Ji-Hyun) who Prince Lee Chang (played by Ju Ji-Hoon) encountered at the end of season 2, the episode has been entitled “Ashin of the North”. The episode will also reveal some of the secrets regarding the resurrection plant and will also feature Mi Chi Rok (Played by Park Byung Eun) the Royal Commander who appeared in season 2.
The episode will be directed by Kim Sung Hoon who directed the first two seasons and he will be joined by Kim Eun Hee who wrote the scripts for both season 1 and 2, BA Entertainment and Studio Dragon will be co-producing the episode.
Although the episode will be released worldwide at some point next year on Netflix, no official release date has been given as of yet.
