New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) exclusive Manga, New Japan Academy will be made available in English. The Manga will be exclusively available in digital format and will be available via Yen Press.
The Manga shows the NJPW stars of today like you’ve never seen them before, staring the likes of Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchica Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and more. Tetsuya Naito is re imagined as the protagonist who joins New Japan Academy which is just as if NJPW was a violent school.
This is not the first time the worlds of NJPW and Manga /Anime have been brought together with NJPW’s stars such as Tama Tongaa and former NJPW Current AEW star Kenny Omega appearing in the most recent Tiger Mask anime series.
The Tiger Mask manga and anime popularity has led to many of NJPW’s top performers adopting the Tiger Mask persona, Even the character Jushin Thunder Liger was a Manga/Anime character before Keiichi Yamada adopted the persona going on to become a pro wrestling legend.
